SHIVAM Project started as a basic idea of compiling a few mantras and Shlokas and slowly it is growing into a full fledge project that can be used by any individual as a self structured learning system with progress tracking. This has been discussed with numerous people, some disregarded it and tried to make a version of their own but they all became stagnant after a point and the original idea still remains intact and alive. With the support, guidance from various religious leaders / pandits / vedic gurus, a learning structure for the SHIVAM Project is being created.
What is SHIVAM Project?
S H I V A M = Sanatan History, Indian Vedas and Ancient Mantras
S Sanatan
H History
I Indian
V Vedas
A Ancient
M Mantras
Under this learning structure / platform, the history of the Sanatan Dharma, various religious books and ancient mantras for chanting will be included and each of the lesson, mantra or a concept / story will be assigned a number (like the lesson number or a level) and so when one starts learning from this structure, they are learning the right information and not the misleading content that has been created to bash and humiliate Sanatana Dharma.
This is NOT a replacement to any religious book or work of literature, but this will be curating the knowledge from the Vedas, Puranas, Shashtras and the folklore that has been passed down to generations in a community or a region as Shruti (heart literature)
As one makes progress learning lessons, one can take test their progress and keep moving forward. Each person holding a SHIVAM badge can become a guide to the other with the lower badge number.
The most important focus is to present the right information in an organized manner, to create a competitive healthy atmosphere to learn and grow and instigate curiosity. This platform will STRICTLY be around Dharma and Vedic learning and in no way show any political affiliation. That way everyone will be welcome to learn regardless of their religious, social, political or economic background because Sanatan Dharma is the most inclusive of all.
The roadmap of this project also includes teaching of Sanskrit and Law to each individual, geo-tagging temples and enabling them to be tagged with a relevant technology at the time of implementation to visit the temple and scan a NFC tag or similar tech to ensure an individual visited the premises in person, to ensure mobilizing of people to visit more temples thereby earning badges on their each visit to the temple!
Any ideas relevant to this project are welcome!
